What it means for a record
How this format moves a trader up the scale.
A single PnL World Championship win, before field strength, is enough on its own to reach Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond and Master. Placement in any division still needs five rated finishes.
Every trader who finishes a PnL World Championship tournament earns a share of its weight, so the format adds to a record even without a top place. The full ladder of formats is on the formats page.
